Maddison Lewis

Maddison cares deeply about issues involving access to justice and recognises the importance of acknowledging intersectionality within the sentencing process. Currently, he works as an assistant legal researcher at MinterEllisonRuddWatts while simultaneously completing his final year of study at the Auckland Law School. Maddison also serves as one of the 2023-2024 managing editors of the Public Interest Law Journal of New Zealand.
In 2024, Maddison received the prestigious Kupe Leadership Scholarship, and in 2023 was awarded the Brookfield Lawyers Scholarship. Maddison has had the privilege of representing the Auckland Law School in various national and international legal competitions.
